SCMS Mission Statement:
The Seminole County Medical Society (SCMS) is a non-profit organization that represents over 230 physicians who reside or practice in Seminole County. The SCMS provides its physician members with a strong voice and active representation in local and state government, with regulatory agencies, and in community activities. SCMS serves as an advocate for patients and physicians in promoting public health and ensuring high standards in medical care, education and ethics.

Vraj Panara, MD - President
Vraj was born in Manavadar, India, and graduated from BJ Medical College in Ahmedarad, Gujarat, India in 1986. He finished his residency in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Hospital in Bronx, New York in 1992. Vraj has been in Internal Medicine practice in Altamonte Springs since 1992. He and his wife Trusha have two children--Richa, 16, and Kush, 13.

Tanya Agard, MD - President-Elect
Tanya graduated from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 1995. She did her residency in Internal Medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Tanya practices Hospital Medicine with Mid-Florida Hospital Specialists.

Thomas Kelley, MD - Vice President
Tom attended the Medical College of Georgia, and did his residency in Family Medicine at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville, including serving as Chief Resident. He spent ten years on the faculty of Atlanta Medical Center's Family Medicine Residency Program before joining his father, Dr. Lawrence Kelley, in practice in Longwood. Tom wife Tina have two sons—Cliff, 12 and Ryan, 9.

Sanjay Reddy, MD - Secretary
Sanjay was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, and attended the University of Miami for his BS and MD. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and GI/Liver Fellowship at Rush University, Chicago where he served as Chief Fellow. Sanjay practices Gastroenterology with offices in Apopka, Oviedo, and Altamonte Springs, and sees inpatients at South Seminole Community and Florida Hospital Altamonte. He lives in Winter Springs with his wife Seema, a local law professor, and two daughters. Richard Bragg, MD - Immediate Past President---
Richard was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and grew up in New Orleans. He attended LSU undergraduate and medical school. After graduating in 1992, Richard and his wife, Susie, moved to Orlando for a residency in Family Practice at Florida Hospital. From 1995-1997 he practiced ina large primary care group, then opened Florida Vein Care & Cosmetic Center in 1998. Richard has two children - Payton, 11, and Delaney, 8.
